When purchasing a bicycle, it is important that you have the correct frame size. A well-fitting bicycle ensures a comfortable and safe sitting position. The frame size says something about the frame height of your bicycle. The frame height is the distance from the bottom bracket to the point of the frame where the seat post comes out, expressed in centimeters.
You can determine the correct frame size yourself using the following calculation: Measure the inseam without your shoes on. You do this by placing your legs about 15 cm apart and measuring the distance between the ground and crotch height. If you multiply this length in centimeters by 0.68 you get the corresponding frame size.
If you are between two frame sizes, always choose the smaller size. You can compensate for a smaller size with the height and position of the saddle and handlebars. A bicycle that is slightly too large can cause complaints in the neck and shoulders. Please let us know – for example in the order note – if you would like us to raise or lower the saddle for you.
